Started in 1990 as a trading company by Mr.S.Sankaran a B.Sc., P.G.D.B.M. technocrat entrepreneur who had at that time left his job as a Marketing Manager in a Company which was the Brand leader in its product range.

At the time of starting the business he had 20 years of marketing experience, having sold a variety of products, like Textiles, Hosiery, Sewing Threads, Nylon raw materials, Nylon Rods and tubings, Teflon rods and profiles, Nylon Bristles for Tooth Brush and other brush manufacturers, consumer products like Tooth Brushes, Shaving Brushes, Air Fresheners, etc.

Shanplast Enterprises started its trading operations with the marketing of H.I.P.S. plastic sheets, B.O.P.P. Film based Synthetic Paper and Garware Polyester Films.

At present the operations have expanded to include APET Films , PET -G Films, H.D.P.E. Plastic Crates and Indian Handicrafts.
 

The infrastructure facilities include two offices and 3 godowns and field and office staff to provide excellent back up service and is likely to expand in the near future. Administrative work is computerised with fax and e-mail facility as well as our own web-site http://www.shanplast.co.in
